Step 1: Boil the macaroni

  • First, heat water in a large pan and add some salt to it.
  • When the water becomes hot, add the macaroni and boil it for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the macaroni becomes soft.
  • Once boiled, drain the macaroni, rinse it with cold water, and let it cool for a bit.

Step 2: Preparing Cheese Sauce

  • Heat butter in a pan, and then add flour and fry it well.
  • When the flour turns golden and its texture changes, add milk slowly while stirring it with a spoon.
  • Cook the milk, stirring continuously, so that it does not form lumps and a smooth sauce is formed.
  • Now add grated cheese and mix it well. After the cheese melts, add garlic powder, black pepper, and salt, and cook for some more time.

Step 3: Mixing Macaroni and Cheese Sauce

  • Now add the macaroni that we had boiled to the cheese sauce.
  • Mix everything well so that the cheese sauce is evenly applied to the macaroni.
  • If you like the taste of oregano and chili flakes, you can add them to it as well.
  • Now take out the cheese macaroni in a hot plate and add some more grated cheese and oregano on top and serve.
  • Your creamy and tasty cheese macaroni is now ready to serve.
